“Vegan” = Strict Fast
Vegan recipes avoid all animal products, so they’re all strict fast. In fact our fasting rule is a bit more liberal than vegan, since on strict fast days we can consume horrors of the deep such as clams, shrimp, octopi, and so on. The bookstores are full of vegan cookbooks, the internet is full of vegan recipes — take advantage.
